After a slight unplanned detour due to road closures, (thank goodness for Tom Tom and a very helpful understanding wedding couple), we braved the sub zero temperatures and had some fun in the winter sun at Waverley Abbey.
Zoe and Leon are due to get married in August at Hunton Park in Hertfordshire but wanted to go somewhere different for their engagement shoot, so I thought that this was an ideal location.
Zoe and Leon happily ran around for me, up and down trees and sitting on cold stone ruins, our feet and hands were freezing. Leon, very cleverly bought some tarpaulin for him and his lovely lady to sit on (how forward thinking was he), it came in very handy for one of the shots where I had to lie on the ground on a mole hill, so thanks for that Leon.
I think the shots below really depict Zoe and Leon’s character and personality and I can’t wait for the wedding.

I spent this afternoon at Lisa and Brads so we took the opportunity to have some fun before Lisa’s due date, which is actually tomorrow. I’m really excited to hear any news and can’t wait to see and of course photograph their new bundle. Watch this space….
Good luck Lisa and Brad, if he/she makes an appearance tonight. x
For now, here are the images from the shoot today.

We had a bit of a laugh whilst we were photographing Lisa and Brads baby bump today. We were making fun of the OK and Hello style photo shoots. Brad and Lisa said that they felt like they were on the set of one of them so we thought up a title of “Brad and Lisa at Home as they plan for the arrival of new baby”
Here are the gorgeous images from the shoot. Lisa and Brad’s baby is due end Jan.

Not sure what it is about me, but I seem to attract bad weather…rain for the wedding last week and for Sharon and Toms engagement session, freezing cold wind and rain on the beach!! Not the most ideal of conditions. Despite all this, we managed to get some fab fun shots. I’m a bit of a sucker for a beach hut too, they were screaming out to be used and they brightened up the less than cheery day.
Sharon and Tom are due to marry in Sri Lanka at Christmas, followed by a wedding party back home in Brighton on their return.
Enjoy the photos.

A wet start to the day it was! However I always think that rain on a wedding day brings good luck. Mary and Jim married in Farnham Baptist church, followed by a reception at Crondall Village Hall. Mary wore a wedding dress from Monsoon’s bridal collection. The sun decided to appear just at the end of the service which was brilliant for the group photos. I made poor Richard my second shooter scale the roof (actually he had a ladder but that just sounds better) for the shot of the whole wedding party. Rather precarious but it worked. Here are the images from Mr and Mrs Shrek’s (as they will now always fondly be known) wedding day. Thanks to Richard, who shot any pre prep images of the groom shown below and lastly, congratulations to Mary and Jim, who will be jetting off on honeymoon to Sacremento tomorrow.
