So it’s fair to day that I am a little depressed. This is to do with looking out of the window to rain and a grey sky. I’ve only been back in the UK for 4 days and I am already getting ready to hot foot it back out to Provence. For the last two weeks, I have been enjoying a lovely break with my family and some good friends in the very sunny south of France.
We try to go to Provence every year but due to my wedding schedule, it’s not been possible for the last two years. It was a much needed break and I do feel really refreshed. I even managed to read a couple of books whilst away, something I love to do but don’t get the time anymore.
So here are some sunny pix, a taster of what we got up to on holiday. We took Frankie our miniature daxie, who did find it a little hot but her holiday pal (being long haired) found it even hotter.
The London road sign you see in one of the pictures is actually our old road in London, before we moved to Surrey. It was on a stall at an antiques market and my hubs and I could not believe it, it was fate, like it was meant to be. In hindsight I wish we had bought it, although it was far to heavy to carry back to the car - besides there would of been no room for all the vino we bought back with us.
Now…It’s very rare to see a picture of me on my blog, I normally stake out behind the lens as I don’t like my picture being taken, however Simon managed to capture the nicest photo of all of us that we’ve ever had, so it is gracing the pages of my blog and I wanted to post it to give you a little insight into my lovely family who have supported me on my photography journey to date.
Here’s to happy holidays and hopefully a warm end to the british summer.
