I’m finally getting round to sharing some of my gorgeous weddings from 2012. This one is no exception. Seren and Paul married at the end of July on one of the rare sunny days we had during the summer. A feeling of smugness came over me as I drove to Serens family home as I knew it was going to be a hot one. I had all my hopes pinned that the weather would hold so we could take advantage of the golden light as the sun set later on that eve. I joined Seren at her family home for bridal prep. Her old bedroom was a hive of activity and a little squashed with five bridesmaids getting ready. Seren is in Fashion PR and chose elegant sage green long dresses for her maids, the colour scheme looked fabulous set against the rustic barn. Seren arrived at her family church in a 1920’s Rolls Royce with her dad by her side. The day could not have been more picture perfect, a pretty chocolate box church and glorious sunshine. Just Jane provided the delicious food and canapés back at Gate Street Barn and shortly after pudding, I stole the couple away for a golden hour photo opportunity in the surrounding fields. But we weren’t alone…... we were joined by lots of tiny chicks that seemed to dart out from the long grass every time we moved location. After the Cake cutting, Live & Modern, performed tunes into the evening for the after party. Thanks to Emma Russell for second shooting, here are their best bits.
