Saturday saw the wedding of Lauren and Richard in East Sussex. The day was forecast with wind and rain but once again, we seemed to dodge the showers. Lauren and Richard were married in beautiful Buxted Park Church, which came complete with a 92 year old vicar.
Lauren and her bridesmaids prepared for the day in the bridal suite at Horsted Place Hotel, an imposing and elegant gothic house.
After the ceremony guests made their way back to the Hotel & Lauren and Richard made a surprise drive by in a soft top XJ8 (a la Kate and Wills).
Guests enjoyed canapes and pimms, croquet and garden jenga before tucking into the wedding breakfast. Tables were decorated with tiny bud vases and guest names were painted onto pebbles. Tables were rather aptly named after territories in Australia as Lauren and Richard are soon to be emigrating to Aus to begin their married life together.
Lauren and Richards were such a sweet couple, so in love and it was a delight to photograph their day, her family and guests made Tarah and I feel so welcome. Enjoy your honeymoon L&R and here’s your sneak peek.
