Rachel & Robin, Engaged, Thursley Nature Reserve.

March 03, 2012

The weather was not looking good for this weekends engagement session and Rachel and Robin’s was one of two I have this weekend. I’d already had to re-schedule their shoot as I was unwell, so I wasn’t intending on giving up on today easily. We were due to meet at 10 this morning but the drizzle started soon after 9, not to be beaten I checked the forecast and we decided to meet at lunchtime instead. My plan worked! The sun came out as I pulled into the car park at Thursley Nature Reserve where Rachel and Robin were eagerly awaiting.

Rachel and Robin met four and a half years ago on match.com and they are such a super couple. Rachel told me that Robin was really dreading being photographed. I too shy away from the camera, so I could totally empathize with how he felt. I don’t think he did too badly at all from the images below, do you?

Rachel and Robin marry at Gate Street Barn at the beginning of April and I’m really looking forward to capturing their day.

OMG Zoe!!! It was great seeing you again too. We also feel rather chuffed and not a little bit surprised to see our “names in lights” on your blog! Thank you so much, they are great pics (I think the favorite is the one of us falling over) and it has really made our day. Rob and Rachel x
