Sometimes you meet two people who are meant to be together. Chrissy and Clayton are that couple. Last year I received an email from Chrissy asking if I was free to shoot their wedding. I instantly recognized the surname - Judd. On further reading I gathered it was my good friend and fellow photographer Eddies, sister. Last year came and went in a busy blur and suddenly it was March, the month of Chrissy and Clayton’s big day. The nerves kicked in pretty early as I was feeling a little apprehensive about being responsible for capturing not only a friend’s sister wedding but the fact that they were also a wedding photographer! No pressure!! The weather behaved for most of the day and the sun shone just at the right time for my couple portraits. It was not, however so co-operative for the large shot of all guests - we had a short sharp crazy blizzard. The guests were great and at least it made everyone smile. The wedding supplier list was extensive due to Eddie being in the wedding industry and lets just say I was spoilt for choice with details to photograph. Chrissy and Clayton, it was a pleasure to be a part of your special day and we’re looking forward to holidaying in Provence with you later this year - now its not every day you can say you went on holiday with your Bride and Groom.
This is the story of Clayton and Chrissy’s wedding at the beautiful Stoke Place. Huge thanks to Kirsten Mavric for being my wing girl. Look out for Chrissy and Clayton’s day on Rock My Wedding in the coming weeks.
