Venues Galore

February 12, 2011

A gothic fairytale, a rustic barn and a country manor, just three of the venues I’ll be photographing at this year. Today I’ve been to Canterbury to visit Winters Barns, where one of my couples will marry in early March. Winters Barns were preparing for a wedding fair tomorrow so you can’t get the full effect from the photos…you’ll have to check back to see it all for real in March when Hayley and Kevin tie the knot.

I always visit venues if I’ve not photographed there before, mainly as I like to see whats in store before the day. It also gives me a chance to do a dry run of the route. I’m a teensy weensy bit of an control freak too and I can be mostly found at venues on the wedding day at least an hour too early.

I’ve also attached photos from my venue visits to Northbrook Park where sheep kindly obliged with some portrait shots and Horsley Towers where I’ll be at the end of this month.

As well as these venues, I am thrilled to be photographing at Botleys Mansion, Stoke Rochford Hall, The Larmer Tree Gardens, The Walled Garden at Cowdray, Cannizaro House, Loseley Park The Old Rectory, Kilworth House, Winchester College, Gate Street Barn (five times over), Trunkwell House, Horsted Place and I have a couple of great local venues, a village hall and a pub. All will be very different weddings and I can’t wait to start the season.
